Describe a person in the news who you want to meet.

You should say:

Who the person is

When you saw this person in the news

What kind of person he/she is

And explain why you want to meet the person.

Personally, I have the habit of reading news on the internet. I usually read some news on the way to school in the morning. Here is something interesting I read about just a couple of days ago.

To begin with, I found the news on an English website. It was reported that James Blunt, one of the most popular British singers, was present in the Christmas celebration on TV in the UK. He would perform 2 songs of his for the celebration.

I became interested in the news, because James Blunt was my favorite singer. I got to know him when I was in high school. I remember it was in an English class, and my English teacher was playing one of his songs to the class. The song was You Are Beautiful, a very romantic piece. I was impressed by the melody and his charming voice. Since then, I’ve been following him on the internet.

Honestly speaking, I have never seen him in person, but I really want to meet him, because he’s a very talented musician. Starting his career 25 years ago, he’s been devoted to music throughout his career. He has published more than 10 albums, and he’s still very active in the music community. What’s more, his performance in the music video is natural and spontaneous. I hope I can attend one of his concerts in the future. I’m sure it will be the most exciting moment in my life.
