雅思长难句几种省略情况

雅思学习长难句状语从句中的省略，如果从句的主语和主句的主语一致，且从句的谓语含有be动词的某种形式（am/is/are/was/were），可同时省略从句的主语和be动词的某种形式。

①when，while引导的时间状语从句

When/While (I was) on my way to shelter,I met her.

②if，unless，once引导的条件状语从句

If （it is） properly educated,childwill become eccentric.

Once (you are) caught cheating in an exam, youwill be punished.

③though，although，whether等引导的让步状语从句

He was happy, though/although (he was) poor.

Whether (she is) sick or well, she isalways cheerful.

Yet, whether (they are) recognized ornot, they will usually determine the long-term population density.

④as if，as though引导的方式状语从句

He rubbed his eyes and yawnedas if/though (he was) waking up after a longsleep.

Check is easier to carry than cash (is).

I have as much as confidence inyou as (I have confidence) in him.

定语从句中的省略

关系代词(that/which/whom等)在限制性定语从句中充当宾语且不位于介词之后时，可以省略。

The man(that/who/whom) you visited last night is my grandpa.

in which或that在先行词way后作方式状语从句时可省略。

I don’t like the way (in which/that) you treat the girl.

省略技巧口诀：回答问题要简洁，并列重复需省略。比较than后需省略。宾从表从that勿省略。前后出现同一词，习惯表达需省略
