Nowadays, children spend too much timewatching TV and playing computer games. Some people believe this has negativeeffects on children's mental abilities. To what extent do you agree ordisagree?

There has been a continuous increase in thenumber of children who are exposed to TV and computer games due to thedevelopment of the technology. Some people argue that spending too much timecan generate negative influences on children's mental abilities. Consideringthis issue, it is crucial to explore it from two sides.

On the one hand, it is undeniable thatspending too much time in watching TV and playing computer games does harm tochildren's mental abilities.Attached themselves toscreens 24/7, Excessiveexposure todigital devices does damage to children’s social wellbeing, children areinclined to have less time to communicate and interact with their peers, whichconsequently damaged their interpersonal skills. In addition, it is detrimental to children’s physical health.  too Too much exposure to theelectronic devices tend to cause their vision to be damaged. They are likely tokeep their eyes on screens for a long time without taking breaks and relaxingeyes. Excessive use of their eyes tend to cause poor eyesights.

However, admitting the negative impactsdoes not mean that benefits can be ignored. Firstly,these screen-based technology is helpful to enrich children’s knowledge.  Children can acquire knowledge through watching TV andplayingcomputer games. While watching cartoons containing a wide variety ofeducational stories, for example, children are able to learn that being honestis of great importance and those who always tell lies may lose trusts ofothers. After watching these cartoons, what they are inclined to do is to behonest. Exposure to these devices can contribute to the shape cultivationofchildren's good qualities. What is more, playing computer games requiringchildren to gain credits by answering mathematical questions can improve theirnumerical abilities.

In conclusion, I believe that spending toomuch time can have negative impacts on children's social skills and theireyesights, but they can get more benefits from TV or computer games if theirtime spent on these devices can be reasonably controlled by their parents.

It is often argued that the younger generation is attracted negatively affected by electronic product. Some believe that the main cause of this tendency is detrimental to children’s growth and health. Although I believe this is true to certain degree, I also think there are other factors to be considered. Considering the issue, it is crucial to explore it from two sides. 开头不要表明观点

It is being used more in different aspects of our lives,such as education.This means that children could learn some knowledge from TV program or use computer to do some homework.It is better than traditional learning approach.Some TV program likes Discovery provides a good opportunity to children to know some science or wild animal.

To conclude,I do believe that some parents are very busy  to work and children are lack of accompany with their parents, so children take long time with TV or computer and their eyes health will be impaired.But I also believe that how proper to make use of electronic equipment is certainly parents responsibility. With proper guidance and parents’ participation, the negative influences of using digital device can be avoided.
