I bet no one could deny that the main responsibility of a high school is tohelp its students develop academic abilities. But for a student himself, it isalso very important to get fully educated in other fields like music and art aswell as basic science. Music and art can help the students appreciate beauty inour lives and that will also increase the efficiency of their basic sciencestudy.

I usually do three things to spend my spare time. The first is reading. I lovereading, especially in a silent environment such as library. The second isdoing sports. Every morning, I jog 3000 meters, and every weekend, I swim 2000meters. This can make me healthier and energetic. And last thing I’d like to do when I am free is to eat outwith friends. You may be surprised to know that I have tried all therestaurants in our community!

I definitely think that the use of a mobile phone should be forbidden in someplaces, for example, library. The most common reason for people going to alibrary is to find a silent environment to read their favorite books withoutinterruption. But if you receive a phone call in the library or just send outmessages, the mobile phone will ring. This noise will surely interrupt othersin the library. And I do not think it is very polite.

I definitely think that it is newspapers that influence me most among thethree. I read newspaper everyday especially the Beijing Daily which is myfavorite. I learn what is happening around or outside the school all by readingnewspaper. And as a student of journalism, newspaper is just like textbook forme, I learn how to write news with it. So that’s why I think it influences me most.

No one could deny that the main responsibility of government is to regulate itspeople. But it is also very important for the government to build publicutilities like museums and theatres for example. We people pay a huge amount oftax every year to the government, we do not hope they use this sum of moneyonly to regulate us, we hope they can return some profit to us. And in myopinion, building museums and theatres is a good way of that.
