Describe a friend who is a good leader
You should say:
Who this person is
How you knew this person
How this person behaves
And explain why you think this person is a good leader
问“”“Who this person is”,他是谁?
第二问“How you knew this person”,你是怎么认识他的?
第三问“How this person behaves”,他是怎么做的?
第四问“Explain why you think this person is a good leader”,为什么你认为他是一个好的?

The friend I want to introduce to you is Sam. He is my classmate as well as the team leader of my group project.
First of all, he is a very proactive person. He always considers one step ahead and put his thoughts into practice. For instance, during the Covid-19 outbreak, all students were taking online lectures so the group assignment became a difficult task. But Sam had collected the contact details of each group member and created a group chat beforehand. Hence, we could make discussions and share files more easily than other groups.
Besides, the project plan made by Sam had a clear division of labour. He broke down the assignment into small tasks and let the members pick which part they were good at, and then he took the remaining one with no complaint. He also tracked the progress of every member responsibly to make sure no one fell behind the schedule.
Moreover, he understands the importance of cohesion in a team. There was a certain topic where our group members had divergent opinions. Sam could have used his dominant position to force others stand on his side, which is a reasonable move for a leader because he is responsible for pushing the project forward. However, he chose to talk us through the reasons behind his perspective, and successfully convinced some of the opposers. By doing so, he avoided the potential conflict in the group, which could lead to a worse performance in the project. On his lead, we finally achieved a remarkable grade for that subject.
Proactive
Covid-19 outbreak
Division of labour 分工
Divergent
Cohesion
