01、Contemporary world has witnessed the growing number of “lonely hearts” who would stay all by themselves rather than making friends with other people around them. They are generally cold, secluded, disrespectful, or even violent. They are, in one word, “anti-social”.

02、Many people become anti-social because they are addicted to the virtual world enabled by the Internet. 03、There are others who hate mixing with people simply because they are afraid of doing that. Such people are usually from broken families or single-parent families. The number of this kind of people are on the rise, as the divorce rate globally keeps going up nowadays.

Finally, the situation would also be improved if all people were made to understand that a valuable life is not solely dependent upon a highly-paid job, but more on a harmonious relationship with other people.
