这是一道相对来说简单的人物类话题，老烤鸭们应该都对这样一道问题有印象：描述一个你们国家的名人，这两道题差不多，但也有些细微的区别，一起来看看吧！

A famous person who I am really interested in is definitely Jolin Cai. She is the best pop singer in China who embarked on her singing career in 2000. The Taiwan-born singer has recently become Vietnam’s first-ever artist to be listed on Billboard’s World Albums chart, after releasing her ninth studio album ‘Wo Pei’.

Jolin is my biggest idol because she is a great singer with beautiful voice. Some years ago, I caught a glimpse of her on TV and was immediately hooked by her outstanding performance. I have became her loyal fan since then. I really like the way she sings and the way she expresses the feeling of the song. To my admiration, she has always worked seriously to give high quality music products.

Jolin is beloved for her good personality too. She is known to all her fans for her gregariousness and sense of humour. Besides, she has also devoted her time to organizing free concerts for university students nationwide. Together with her fans and friends, she has been doing a lot of charity activities silently to help the poor, the sick and the homeless people.

What kinds of famous people are there in your country?

In my opinion, there are two kinds of people who become famous people these days. First of all, people are famous because of their real talents. They are scientists, inventors, singers, actors, rich and successful people. The second kind of famous people is people who are known by their scandals. They do anything to be famous. They do not concern about things they do right or not.

 What are the differences between famous people today and those in the past?

As far as I am concerned, the kind of accomplishment that made people well-known in the past is different from the one these days. You know, people in the modern age are much more intelligent than the ones in the past. Therefore, if the modern age people want to become celebrities they have to accomplish much more than what people did in the past. For instance, in the past, Isaac Newton became famous for his three laws of motion; but nowadays most people all know and apply the three laws of motion but they do not become renowned at all.

Do you think famous people are necessarily good in their fields?

I believe so. When there is a famous person in his field, the who industry will be paid attention. More and more people will be interested in his field, it good for the person, the industry and the society, Like there’s a very famous swimming athlete named Sunyang in China, he is the champion in national game and has won several international games, he fueled the swimming itself to be popular among young people and the old, which I think it’s a good thing.

Do you think media are putting too much attention on famous people?

Televisions, newspapers, websites and other media pay excess attention to famous people's personal lives and what they do in their life in order to catch public's eyes. Concentrating too much on celebrities live by media is not moral and cannot be accepted even, though coming people like to watch these reports.
