我们来看一看2021年一季度雅思口语题库中Part 1的一个新话题：Recycle（收利用）。相信要在一季度考雅思口语的同学不会对这个话题陌生，乍看之下这个话题用中文很好回答，但是用英语表达却有一定的难度。那么今天，我就为大家来做一些该话题的素材积累，同时也会有回答范文的展示。

No.1、Vocabulary

首先，我们先来看一些在这个话题下考生需要具备的词汇和搭配：

✔ recycle是动词，后面可以直接接宾语，例如：recycle plastic，回收塑料；

✔ recycling，名词，意为“回收利用”，例如：the recycling of paper，纸张的回收利用

✔ recyclable，形容词，意为“可回收利用的”，例如：to be easily recyclable，可以轻易的被回收利用；

其次，在这个话题下，我们经常会说到废物的回收利用，但是在生活中有很多英文词汇来表达“废物”，例如：

✔ waste：名词，废物

✔ rubbish：垃圾，废物（英国英语）

✔ rubbish bin：垃圾桶（英国英语）

✔ trash, garbage：垃圾，废物（美国英语）

✔ garbage can, trash can：垃圾桶（美国英语）

✔ Landfill：垃圾填埋地

✔ Dumping ground：垃圾倾倒场

再者，来看一看我们该回收些什么东西呢？

✔ plastic：塑料

✔ glass / bottles / cans：玻璃，瓶子，罐子

✔ paper / cardboard / boxes：纸张，硬纸板，纸盒

✔ batteries：电池

✔ second-hand clothes：二手衣服

最后，我们再来看看与该话题有关的其他表达：

✔ biodegradable：形容词，意为“可生物降解的”，例如：Well, I usually ✔ recycle biodegradable items, such as food, or any other organic material.

✔ disposal of ...：意为“对...的处理”，例如：disposal of rubbish.

✔ throw away = get rid of：意为“扔掉，处理掉”，例如：get rid of nuclear waste.

S1、Do you recycle? Why?

Well, for sure. I have been recycling for at least 10 years. I observed my parents doing the same thing when I was little, I believe it is environmentally friendly to such things, I mean, for the sake of nature.

S2、Will you recycle in the future?

Yes of course. Like I mentioned before, I used to recycle lots of things when I was little, such as newspapers, glass bottles and containers, and I will insist on such behavior because I want to do my bit to help conserve the environment and I definitely think recycling is going to play an important role in doing that. So, there is no doubt that I will recycle more in the future.
