Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: celebrities set a good example as role models for young people.

真题解析

托福真能搞事情，5年前同一天，也就是2016年1月9日的原题。

首先，这道题不能带入太多的个人情感，不要受到热搜等舆论的引导，要尽量在理想状态下思考。那么，我会觉得名人是年轻人的榜样。

，不可否认的是，名人都很努力，甭管是制造新闻，买热搜，打磨作品，都是努力，想让自己被看到，没有明星想要默默无闻，否则就没必要挤破头进这个圈子。

第二，明星头上顶着的压力是很大的，正面或者负面新闻，都是压力。能在这种压力下，继续坚持，不放弃，本身就是很棒的品质。

I do agree with the statement.

First, celebrities are hard-working. No matter what they do, they put their hearts into it. Sometimes, you feel that the work is effortless, but the reality is they repeat the same process over and over again until they could let go. They are trying so hard not to let people down.

Second, they are also persistent. Obviously, they endure much more pressure than average people, but they seldom give up even though they come across enormous negativity. For example, no actor can satisfy all the viewers. They may get some really bad comments. But this is not gonna tear  them apart. Instead, they are going to be more determined than ever before.

So this is why celebrities are role models for young people.
