11月28日雅思写作真题范文：极限运动应该被禁止吗？

今天的考题重复的是2014年8月9日的原题。本题前后两个部分由 and 连接。如果仔细看，就能看到and连接的前后部分是因果关系：因为极限跳伞、滑雪这些运动很危险，因此应该被禁止。

这类因果关系的题目，老雅多次讲过，不外乎三种思路：

承认原因，也承认结果：极限运动很危险，的确应该禁止。

承认原因，但不承认结果：极限运动很危险，但不应该禁止。

不承认原因，也不承认结果：极限运动并不危险，因此不应该禁止。

至于到底选择哪种思路，考生可以根据自己的情况：哪种思路写起来更顺手，就选择哪种思路。但是，一般说来，我们选择第二种思路最为妥当。

如果选择第二种思路，本文就可以按照如下结构来写：

段：引入话题，并给出自己的观点

第二段：有些运动的确很危险（可以举例或引用相关报道）

第三段：但是不应该禁止极限运动。

---首先，极限运动发生危险的几率并不高；

---其次，极限运动能给参与者带来乐趣，甚至能刺激他们去迎接生活中的挑战 ；

---最后，是否参与极限运动应该是一个个人选择的问题，不应该干涉公民的自由。

第四段：结尾段。重申观点：极限运动有一定风险，但政府要做的是应该是告诉参与者这些运动可能的风险，而不是禁止这些运动。

Nowadays, extreme sports such as sky diving, skiing, and bungee jumping have become increasingly popular, especially among young people. It is suggested, however, that these sports should be banned because they are dangerous. Personally, I do not quite agree with this suggestion.

Extreme sports may sometime be really dangerous and make people die. The recent accident that occurred to a 20-year-old girl who died in sky diving has aroused a lot of discussion in public about whether this sports should be allowed or not. The issue is that no matter how physically well-equipped and psychologically well-prepared, the risk is always there, claiming lives of the most unfortunate participants.

Yet I do not think extreme sports should be banned. In the first place, these sports actually result in very few deaths each year, though every death will cause enormous amount of media sensation. Thousands of bungee jumpers, for instance, return home safe and sound, though the sport appears extremely risky. To ban these sports would definitely disappoint the extreme sports lovers who are willing to draw excitement and even inspirations from these sports. In fact, one of the most important reasons why people participate in extreme sports is that these sports can refresh their feeling of life and encourage them to meet the challenges in life.  Finally, whether to engage in dangerous sports seems largely to be a matter of personal choice, and the government has no reason to interfere with the freedom of its citizens.

In conclusion, extreme sports, and all sports for that matter, may necessarily involve some risks, but what the government should do is take precautions against these risks, rather than prevent people from taking part in these sports.
